New Teaching Excellence Award from the Instituto de Empresa Business School

December 2010. Marcos Cajina receives for the third time the Teaching Excellence Award from the Instituto de Empresa Business School.

December 2009. Marcos Cajina, President and Founder of Renewal, receives a double Teaching Excellence Award from the Instituto de Empresa Business School for his participation as external faculty at the Executive Education programs 2008-2009. The Instituto de Empresa annually awards teachers who earn the highest ratings by students during their courses, of which only a select small group acquires the Teaching Excellence Award.

ERD aims to attract various organizational development specialists, managers and entrepreneurs that will help us enrich our experience and vision of leadership development. Our intention is to help participants incorporate new ideas of how to tackle more easily the main issues and challenges of today´s business context. In this first section, ERD presents an interview with Marcos Cajina, President and Founder of Renewal, who explains why organizational leadership need to focus now on the practice of Changing, rather than continue spending time talking about Change. Throughout this interview, Marcos shares some of his findings over the last 20 years on the process of changing that will help executives and organizations overcome the natural resistance to changing. Some of the main barriers that prevent changing and various practical solutions to overcome resistance to take action are herein introduced.
